The PEL1 pelletizer from ARTME 3D® is now available . As usual, the device comes as a kit and the plastic parts must be printed by the user. You can download them here.
Here you will find the documentation with assembly instructions and operating instructions.
Here are the technical data and features:
- Pelletizer for the production of pellets from filament.
- Driven by drill, stand drill or cordless screwdriver. (Requires a drill with speed control and a drill chuck with a 10 mm opening. Cordless screwdriver only for short-term use.)
- Filament is actively fed in.
- Filament diameters from 1 to 3 mm can be processed.
- Pellet length adjustable to 4.5mm for high speed pelletizing mm or 2.5 mm for micropelletizing (by changing the gear mechanism).
- Maximum pelletizing capacity with 2.85 mm filament and 1500 revolutions per minute: 6.5 kg/h
- Maximum pelletizing capacity with 1.75 mm filament and 1500 revolutions per minute: 4.5 kg/h
- The blade elements are made of laser-cut stainless steel and designed to generate little heat.
- Maximum operating time until extended cooling phase: 1 hour
- The flywheel function ensures high impact force with low input power. This allows relatively long operation even with less powerful cordless screwdrivers.
- Suitable for mounting on a bucket with a lid to collect the pellets directly.
- Certified and safe design. No dangerous parts can be touched.
- Any filament residue remaining in the device between the feed drive and the knife blade can be easily removed via a service opening.
Workload for assembly:
Depending on experience, assembly of the pelletizer can take between 0,5 and 2 hours.
