Extruder Screw V2

V2 stainless steel extruder screw with a diameter of 12 mm and a compacted surface. Suitable for the “Original Desktop Filament Extruder MK1 to MK3S+”. The different versions are described here. Please choose between high and low compression before purchasing.

High-compression screw V2:

Compression ratio approx. 2:1.

The extruder screw (high compression) is designed for processing shredded 3D printing waste made of PLA, ABS, and PETG. In addition, it can also be used to process certain plastics in granule form, such as PLA types (optimized for 3D printing), ABS, and PP. It is marked with two oval markings on the shaft.

Low-compression screw V2:

Compression ratio approx. 1.1:1

The extruder screw (low compression) is designed for processing plastics in granule form such as PLA, ABS, and PETG. Processing of nylon, PA, or other engineering plastics cannot be guaranteed but is often possible. It is marked with an oval mark on the shaft.

Please note that the extruder must be set up in an upright position. Proper function is only guaranteed if the extruder is operated in accordance with the documentation of the original desktop filament extruder.
